Cosmetic surgery is one of the most sensitive categories in marketing. Prospective patients aren't browsing casually — they're researching life-changing decisions that involve real risk, real recovery and real emotional stakes. Traditional promotional content won't cut it here. What's needed is something more considered, more transparent and genuinely reassuring.

That was the starting point for our work with Kat & Co. Initially supporting day-to-day social media management, we soon identified an opportunity to do something more ambitious: create content that would genuinely differentiate the clinic in a highly competitive market, building trust not just through what was said, but how it was said.

The result was Beauty, Honestly — a premium long-form video series designed to position Kat & Co as a trusted authority, turning their social channels into a destination for education and discovery rather than just promotion.

Challenge

Leading cosmetic surgery clinic Kat & Co needed to elevate its social media presence to better reflect its premium positioning, clinical expertise and patient-first approach.

While initial activity focused on business-as-usual (BAU) social content, it quickly became clear there was a bigger opportunity to create content that would genuinely differentiate the brand in a highly competitive market.

The challenge was moving beyond traditional promotional content and transformation-led posts, towards building trust with prospective patients through educational, transparent and emotionally intelligent storytelling — helping people feel informed and reassured when considering often life-changing surgical procedures.

At its heart, this wasn't just about posting more frequently or polishing the aesthetic. It was about earning trust at scale, the kind of trust that turns viewers into enquiries, and enquiries into consultations.

Solution

We identified an opportunity to deliver greater strategic value by developing Beauty, Honestly — a premium long-form video series designed to position Kat & Co as a trusted authority in cosmetic surgery.

Social media strategy

Working closely with the clinic team and specialist surgeons, we created a hero content strategy built around three core themes:

  • Surgical Insights -  simplifying complex procedures for prospective patients

  • Surgeon Spotlight - showcasing expertise and credibility

  • Patient Experiences - sharing authentic journeys to build trust through transparency

Content creation

To bring the series to life, we worked directly with surgeons, attended procedures and captured behind-the-scenes footage that translated complex surgical expertise into accessible, informative content.

Filming covered a range of treatments including breast cosmetic procedures, Lock & Glue Lipoabdominoplasty — Kat & Co's signature tummy tuck procedure — and non-invasive treatments such as Hydrafacials.

This wasn't content for the sake of creating content. Every piece was designed to serve a purpose in the patient journey. Informing, reassuring and removing barriers at the moments that matter most.

Impact

By moving beyond traditional social content and creating a premium, expert-led content series, we transformed Kat & Co's social channels into a platform for trust, education and brand discovery.

Through authentic practitioner insights, patient-focused storytelling and treatment-specific content, we strengthened the clinic's authority, reached new audiences and created a scalable content framework designed to support long-term growth and patient acquisition.

Key results included:

  • 70% of reel viewers were non-followers

  • The top performing reel was Birmingham's Best Kept Secret

  • The post with the highest retention and saves was Lock & Glue Consultation

  • The highest-reaching Facebook cross post was Lock & Glue Consultation

  • The patient review content identified as the strongest Facebook engagement drive

Ultimately, the project evolved from day-to-day content management into a strategic storytelling platform designed to build trust, differentiate the brand and support long-term patient acquisition.
