Discover how we created timeless atmospheric photography and video for O’Neill’s and Sizzling.

Challenge

To create photography and video to capture the buzzing atmosphere of watching live sports in Sizzling and O’Neill’s pubs. 
We were specifically briefed to focus on The Six Nations and Euro 2024, whilst showcasing “the best seat in the house” key message.

The assets were to be featured on digital displays advertising on site and video content for social paid campaigns.

Solution

We interrogated the brief to ensure we understood the key focuses, creating a mood-board, description and shot list for each scene we were to capture.

We worked collaboratively with our client to implement small but important details – for instance pairing specific drinks with different sporting events.

The biggest challenge of the shoot was creating atmosphere and making the pubs look full simulating a real sporting event. Clever use of angles, cropping in close and placement of our sports fans was key.

Impact

The client was delighted with the resulting assets:

  • Photography and video content to be used in a multitude of outputs - from printed posters to paid ads and organic social
  • A suite of assets the client can use again and again
  • Brilliant atmospheric content that ultimately helped deliver the key ask of capturing the buzzing pub environment when watching live sports
