Last night, at the West Midlands Leadership Awards 2026, all the Leopard Co pack were delighted to hear our very own Anthony Tattum was crowned Marketing Leader of the Year. It was one of those proud, defining moments that reminds you exactly why you built a business in the first place—to work alongside people whose brilliance elevates everything and everyone around them.

Anthony’s leadership has been central to Leopard Co’s evolution. Over the past two years, he has not only shaped our brand transformation—seamlessly retiring the legacy identities of Big Cat and spottydog communications—but ensured we retained 80% of our pre merger client activity while attracting more than £350k of new income in 2025. That alone is a masterclass in strategic brand management.

But what truly sets Anthony apart is the depth and breadth of his marketing leadership. Inspired by his passion for harnessing the power of behaviour science, we’ve developed our unique BxROAR methodology, a behaviour science driven framework that blends psychological insight, research, strategic opportunity and activation to deliver measurable results. Under his guidance, this approach has powered campaigns that achieved 143m PR reach for SnowDome, drove 22,000 visitors to CAMRA’s Great British Beer Festival at the NEC, and generated hundreds of media moments for Twycross Zoo.

Anthony’s creativity knows no bounds, inputting into client campaigns, as well as banging the drum for Leopard, including our #BirminghamIsNotRubbish guerrilla campaign launched within 24 hours of the BBC all day live reporting from Birmingham in the wake of the bin strike, shifting the narrative of a city under national scrutiny and landing spots on BBC national news.

West Midlands Leadership Awards

Alongside his strategic and creative strengths, Anthony is an advocate for human centred marketing, championing the fusion of AI x Authentic Intelligence. His thought leadership has taken him from BrightonSEO to Zoomark Bologna, and closer to home at the West Midlands Business Festival.

Yet perhaps his greatest impact is felt inside Leopard. His positivity, mentorship and commitment to continuous learning have helped shape our culture, strengthened our team, and supported our leap to 25% growth and £2m turnover.

This well deserved accolade coincides with Anthony’s personal decision to think about his next chapter beyond Leopard.

After four years working together to build and grow Leopard Co, Anthony Tattum will be stepping down from his role as Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer later this year.

During his time with the business, Anthony has played a central role in bringing together Big Cat Agency and spottydog communications to form Leopard Co, helping to establish the agency’s strategic direction and supporting its continued growth. He has also been a driving force behind the integration of behavioural science into Leopard’s marketing approach and the development of its strategic capabilities.

So later this year Anthony will now be moving on to pursue new opportunities and the next phase of his career, but for now it’s a great time to celebrate his success and congratulate him on his contribution to making the Leopard leap.
