Challenge
To design and build engaging newsletter templates for solus and multi-destination e-Newsletters to drive bookings and enquiries from the client customer database.
This included designing the overall creative and brand narrative for the e-Newsletters and linked landing pages to optimise to click through rates for enquiries and bookings.
Solution
Our studio team developed three visual concepts for an e-Newsletter.
The concepts were designed to appeal to teachers looking to book educational trips to the client’s short and long-haul destinations, driving bookings and enquiries via the DST website.
Once we agreed on which concept to move forward with, our studio team developed the content for the emails, collating the best imagery to attract teachers and showcase the key trip benefits. We also crafted short, snappy copy designed to drive high levels of clicks through to the enquiry and booking pages.
The newsletter was then built in DST’s chosen email platform, Mailchimp, for the client team to send directly to their contact database.
Our studio team also designed and built optimised landing pages for each destination profiled in the e-Newsletter, which were optimised for UX and UI to help maximise bookings and enquiries. This included building a new landing page template in the client’s website CMS, creating a simple form to populate the landing pages with all the newsletter content, button links, and imagery we developed for them.
