How we launched the UK’s largest inland hydrogen cluster with a full suite of branding and digital assets in just a few months.

When D2N2 - the Local Enterprise Partnership for Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire—and Cadent, the UK’s biggest gas distribution network, teamed up, they had one thing in mind: creating a brand identity for East Midlands Hydrogen that was clean, slick, and professional.
With time ticking, the client needed a full suite of marketing and branding collateral ready to roll out immediately, empowering them to kickstart their campaign with impact and confidence.
Solution
We kicked off by creating a unique logo that captured East Midlands Hydrogen’s essence, then chose a colour palette and font that reflected the brand’s personality and tone, chosen to echo the brand’s voice and character.
Next, we defined a consistent visual style, covering everything from illustrations and graphics to photography, ensuring the brand would speak with one clear, confident look across all communications.
