See how we transformed a pharmaceutical pet brand into 'Bark Life' - where science meets style!

Challenge

To create a distinctive brand identity for a new player in the competitive pet healthcare market. The brand needed to strike a delicate balance between pharmaceutical credibility and approachable pet wellness, while standing out in a crowded marketplace. 

Solution

We started with ideation and developed creative territories that were good fits for the company. We narrowed these down to two themes of, ‘Smart Nutrition’ and ‘Holistic Wellness’. It was important that the creative bridged the gap between the clinical feel of pharmaceuticals and the energy of a natural bright fun pet brand. 

This gave us the spark to start generating names for the company and simultaneously providing the client with visual drafts of how that name could be depicted to help inform their decision. 

The name ‘Bark Life’ was chosen and we began developing the final logo from all our previous research. Once the logo was achieved it was then created into a comprehensive style guide including colours, fonts, illustrations, messaging and packaging mock-ups.

Having touch points throughout each of these stages made sure we developed the identity on track with the client’s brief.
