Challenge

To create the concept for a digital marketing campaign and deliver the final adverts through a media plan for Indra, an EV charger company. Indra is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers & installers of smart chargers.

We were looking to create concepts that grab attention, introduce the brand and products and persuade people to act – ultimately, request a home survey for an EV charger.

Solution

We first developed the concept and offered multiple campaign ideas to the client before developing their favoured choice.

The route that we choose focused on the tagline ‘Made for modern life’ and was created to follow Indra’s brand guidelines tightly. It was important that through the creation of the advertising assets we showed how their chargers were durable enough to tackle anything modern living could throw at it.

Once the concept was complete, we produced all the assets across the whole media suite of paid social (Meta), display advertising, and YouTube ads. This meant the concept had to work in many different sizes and formats.

Once the suite of assets was created, we managed the media plan for where and when the ads ran.

The campaign’s messaging was developed to highlight the benefits to consumers of using Indra’s Smart LUX charger. We tailored the tone across different channels and campaign types (awareness, traffic, and sales) to target different stages of the funnel, moving between emotional for top of the funnel (awareness) to rational for bottom (conversion).

Copy aligned with different creative to break down the tech specs of Indra’s product range into relatable impacts on daily life for the target audience: it’s robust enough to deal with stray footballs, it’s weather-resistant so don’t worry about Britain’s unpredictable weather etc.

Impact

  • Our Meta ad campaign achieved an impressive click-through rate of 8.04%, significantly outperforming the industry average of 1.10%.

  • We generated over 12,250 clicks at an exceptionally low cost-per-click of just 21p, far below the industry average of 76p.

  • Our Meta ad campaign created 69% more leads from paid social users than in the previous period.

  • Utilised display advertising to deliver high-quality leads from websites such as MSN, The Daily Record, and The Pink Un.

  • Our YouTube campaigns contributed to 123% more users visiting the website, and our Meta campaign contributed 117% more users.
