Discover how we played a key role in transforming The Student Energy Group into a multi-award-winning powerhouse.
Challenge
To position The Student Energy Group (TSEG) as the leading bill splitting platform and as thought leaders within the Property Technology sector.
Leveraging PR to showcase TSEG’s expertise, build trust and drive interest from both customers and stakeholders.
Solution
We started with a kick-off session with the client to understand the team’s goals and what they wanted to achieve from PR. Through this, we identified the need for the business to focus on growing its presence with B2B audiences.
The strategy included developing a B2B-focused section of the website tailored for landlords and letting agents. This included creating engaging content and blogs, and optimising the site for SEO to increase target audience reach and visibility.
We also created a thought-leadership communications strategy, with a focus on raising the profile of key team members within TSEG, including securing interview opportunities and crafting tailored press releases announcing new business updates, partnerships and milestones, for regional business and trade media.
Once we had established a strong foundation of business-as-usual activity, we focussed on targeted award entries. We identified a number of national and regional awards for TSEG to enter, chosen to underline its credibility as an industry leader.
We then drafted a series of award submissions, highlighting TSEG’s key business successes and innovative future plans, which resulted in the business receiving recognition from some of the UK’s most influential business awards.
